Above & Beyond is the yearly opportunity for us as a church to give ABOVE what we normally give, so that we can do BEYOND what we normally do. In this season, we want to invite you to look beyond our church and into our community, to unique places where God is at work. The gospel goes far beyond the walls of our building and is at work in ministries in our city. Our desire is to be a blessing to them and partners in the incredible work they are doing.

J-Town Area Ministries
JAM brings together thirteen faith-based communities, local businesses, individuals, and local, state, and federal governments to provide a safety net for stabilizing basic human needs in our community.
Through your giving, JAM will be able to help more people, specifically in our J-Town Community. All your giving will go directly to JAM's food pantry and needs distribution.
Hope Collaborative
Hope Collaborative exists to provide safe spaces and trauma-informed programs where individuals can build strong connections with others in their community while they grow and heal. Your giving will go directly to supporting Hope Collaborative's efforts in our community and specifically help us partner with the schools in our area; Tully Elementary and Jeffersontown High School.
Harbor Network
Harbor Network is a member-based association of churches that has been launching new churches and developing church leaders since 2011. Harbor Network has honed their services and structure to offer the safety and support needed to launch, lead, and multiply thriving churches.
Your giving will go directly to supporting:
1) Generous start-up funding for brand-new churches;
2) Caring for more than 1000 pastors and church leaders each year to keep them leading churches well.
3) Equipping established churches and future church planters to start healthy, gospel-centered churches across the US—churches just like Sojourn J-Town.
Sojourn Carlisle
Sojourn Carlisle is a local church in our city that we helped start in 2019. Sojourn Church Carlisle is a new church, but one that already has deep roots. They are rooted in their community, and committed to doing good works in the South End of Louisville and beyond. Sojourn Carlisle is rooted in history, building on the legacy of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. And, above all, they are rooted in the gospel, looking to Jesus, our King, as they hear from his Word every time they gather.
As a young church planted in an underresourced area of our city, we want to support them as they seek to continue to be a faithful presence in our city. Your giving will go directly to help them with resources for their discipleship and outreach ministries in that community.

Affordable Christmas
Affordable Christmas is an event that empowers families in need to provide a fun Christmas for their children in a dignified manner. This event allows the church to meet real needs, foster community relationships, and make God's fame visible to a watching, hurting world.
All gifts must be turned in to the church by December 10th. You can drop gifts off at a designated area on Sunday morning or at the church offices Monday - Wednesday.
Donate Diapers!
Our partner, J-Town Area Ministries, is in need of diapers of all sizes to offer to people in need. Our goal is to collect 100 boxes of diapers for JAM to distribute this winter out of their community center.
There will be a designated area in the atrium to drop off boxes on Sunday morning, or you can drop them by the church offices Monday - Wednesday.
